Om Nirman Bharti is a non-government organization working in the rural areas of Bihar since 2001 for holistic development of the disadvantaged community, particularly for the welfare of children & women through giving voice to them in terms of advocating their issues and be a partner of Government and like minded in reducing their problems. Our goal is to establish a progressive, peaceful, indiscrete and justice society based on the value of equality, fraternity and mutual help.
Our objectives are:
- To setup new type of self-help groups with resource less rural people.
- To develop the skills of the neglected sections of the society so that it serves as an income generation activity.
- To promote the interest of people in environment and sanitation.
- To tender services to the women, children & youths of the country for their actual moral, social and legal rights.
- To organize seminars & training workshop for the upliftment of the neglected section of the society.

To empower women and adolescents socially and economically by enabling them to control resources and access essential services, while providing opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills through targeted training programs.
Our organization is dedicated to women empowerment through diverse initiatives, including the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), self-employment generation activities for youth and women, and special programs addressing child labor. We promote sanitation by constructing toilets and encouraging their use, while also sensitizing communities on disaster management and critical social issues like malnutrition, poor health, and inadequate education. These efforts aim to uplift women and foster sustainable community development.
The promoter and chief of this organization is a highly experienced resource person in entrepreneurship development, with 15 years of expertise in conducting technology-based rural entrepreneurship training programs. His vast knowledge of health and sanitation issues further strengthens the organization's initiatives. Additionally, his strong networking and collaboration with local civil society organizations, block, and district administrations enhance the effectiveness of skill development and training programs, empowering communities for sustainable growth.
Om Nirman Bharti (ONB) NGO runs a dedicated Street Children Education and Food Program in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Personally overseen by the Secretary, food kits with essentials like rice, pulses, and vegetables are provided to daily wage laborers, street children, the elderly, widows, and struggling families. This initiative ensures no one goes hungry, reflecting the organization’s dedication to serving humanity and improving lives.
Roti bank program
Om Nirman Bharti runs the Roti Bank Program to combat hunger and food wastage by providing fresh, nutritious meals to the underprivileged in Muzaffarpur. This initiative collects surplus food from households, restaurants, and events and redistributes it to daily wage laborers, street children, the elderly, and homeless individuals.
Cultural program
The organization actively encourages Sanskrit and cultural programs to bring the community together, fostering unity and social harmony.
